Retrospect 2004

MMMM 2004 - September 9 - 12, 2004

MMMM 2004 Trade Fair & seminar was inaugurated by the Secretary (Steel), Government of India on September 9, 2004 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi in the presence of eminent Metallurgists, Metal & Mining Experts, Engineers, R&D Professionals and Diplomats.

In retrospect, MMMM 2004 was applauded in terms of large participation and quality of business visitors. Apart from the Industry Giants, PSU’s  and Small & medium industries, showcasing the entire panorama  of products , services technologies on Minerals, Metals, Metallurgy and Materials sectors, large participation from the mineral rich states of India along with the industry members made it a resounding success.

Concurrently an international seminar on  the theme - “The Emerging Trends in Metals & Materials – Mining, Manufacture & Markets”, was organized at the same venue. Over  40 speakers  presented papers on vital issues being faced by the Industry.

Over 400 delegates from all over the world attended the Seminar and availed the opportunity to interact with leading luminaries of the industry.


The Chief Secretaries Forum, also  organized on September 9, 2004, was  a value packed addition to the event, wherein, presentations were made by the Chief Secretaries  of the mineral rich states of India, opening up avenues for business dialogue and cooperation.

Steel Authority of India Ltd also organized an interactive B2B Vendor Seminar.

The earlier events held in 1996, 1998, 2000 & 2002 also received an excellent response. MMM 2002 had a consistent growth with participation of over 250 stalls from leading companies from 25 countries.

Besides the Indian companies gained immensely through showcasing of heir latest technologies in these events.
