The “World Mining Congress” normally held at intervals of three years, is amongst the biggest meeting place of the global mining and allied industry. The aim of World Mining Congress is to promote scientific, technical and economic co-operation in the mining industry worldwide and to encourage an exchange of ideas and experiences across continents. The World Mining Congress was organized for the first time in 1958. The next opportunity where the global suppliers of technologies, equipments, products and services can meet up with the respective counterparts to (re-) establish direct contacts with them will be at 21 st World Mining Congress & Expo 2008 scheduled during September 2008 in Poland.
